About

Suishou Tools is a free online toolbox maintained by 6yuwei. The English edition currently offers 71 tools, and more are added regularly. The site started in Taiwan as 隨手 (pronounced “suí-shǒu”, roughly “at hand”), and the name sums up the idea: the tool you need should simply be there when you reach for it.

Why this site exists

Most of the time you just want to check a number or convert a format, yet you end up installing an app or pasting your data into a site you know nothing about. Every tool here aims to open instantly, stay out of your way, give the right answer, and explain how that answer was worked out.

Your data stays on your device

All tools run with standard browser features (JavaScript, Canvas, Web Crypto). The text you type and the files you pick are processed on your own device and are never sent to our servers.

Fully open source

“Your data stays on your device” is something you can check yourself. The complete source code is public on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0 license, so anyone can see exactly what each tool does and confirm that nothing is sent anywhere. Every tool page links to its own source code at the bottom, and bug reports and pull requests are welcome.

Why it’s free

The site is supported by Google AdSense advertising, which pays for hosting and development. We place ads so that they don’t get in the way of the tools themselves.
